Reports
Reports may be generated to provide a variety of information about ArchivalWare. There are seven reports available. Each report may be run with certain options to provide your staff with more specific information. Each report is listed in the Report Types section below with an explanation of its functions.
Library Access Report. This report generates a bar chart summary which shows the number of times each document set has been accessed. The user may choose to run this report by group, by user and within specific dates ranges.
User Access Report. This report gives information about which users accessed the system and when. The columns of information show the username, the message (such as logged in or login failed) and the time and the date. The report can be run without the group or user options.
Query Report. The query report provides information in columnar format regarding queries performed. The report shows what queries have been run, either full text or fielded metadata. If metadata, which fields were searched. It indicates the Type of search (pattern, concept or Boolean), whether the search was recurrent and also shows the document set/library that was queried and how many results were returned.
Data Updating Report. This report lists modifications to the documents in the system. The report provides information on the user, document id, library and date of the modification, as well as the type of modification. For example, based on the Updating Type pull down, the report will note if a change has been made to a document’s metadata, or if a document has been imported, exported or deleted.
